The Tri-State area is set to receive round of snowfall later today. The National Weather Service has posted a Winter Storm Warning beginning at noon and going until early Friday morning. KCRG TV 9 Meteorologist Kai O’Mara says we will probably see a wide range of snowfall totals from the storm system.
The National Weather Service says we can expect snowfall amounts from 4 to 7 inches that will also be highly variable from grassy areas to paved areas.
There are a number of area schools having early dismissals today as a result of the forecasted storm.
