The Western Dubuque Bobcats are top ranked in this week’s Class 4A AP High School Football rankings.
On the strength of their victory over previously top ranked North Scott and a second loss for Cedar Rapids Xavier, the Bobcats jumped from 5th last week to number one this week.
W-D is the only area team ranked this week, Hempstead who suffered their first loss of the season fell out of the top 10 in Class 5A.
