Once again this year the Dubuque Metro Area Solid Waste Agency has set up locations for you to recycle unwanted holiday lights.
You can drop the lights off in marked containers now through January 13th at these locations:
- Outside the City of Dubuque Municipal Services Center on Kerper Boulevard.
- Carnagie Stout Public Library on Monday thru Thursday during the hours they are open.
- Dubuque County Library Asbury Branch also during the hours they are open.
Officials say this is the fifth year for the program and over 12-thousand pounds of lights have been recycled.
