The University of Wisconsin Platteville is mourning the loss of Athletic Director and Assistant Chancellor Kristina Navarro-Krupka this weekend.
The university did not provide immediate details about Navarro-Krupka’s death, but a statement from UW-Platteville Chancellor Tammy Evetovich said Navarro-Krupka passed away unexpectedly during pregnancy, saying her death filled the university and community with “both shock and sadness.”
Navarro-Krupka was in her fourth year as director of athletics and assistant chancellor at UW-Platteville.
