Porno for Pyros reschedule 2024 dates for farewell tour

Porno for Pyros have announced the new dates for their reunion tour — which is now also billed as a farewell tour. Porno for Pyros announced the Horns, Thorns en Halos Tour in July, scheduled to kick-off in October. Shortly thereafter, however, the band announced its postponement.

The band shared on its socials: “At long last, the final farewell It will be a blaze of glory, one magnificent ball of fire. This is the final chapter for all the weirdos and unsung heroes. We can’t wait to share these final performances with you. Let’s give it everything we’ve got! … later adding … ‘It’s far from our first rodeo but it will surely be our last tickets for the Horns Thorns En Halos Farewell Tour are on sale now! Bring your best and we’ll give it all we’ve got.”

Porno for Pyros’ first new song since the 1990s, “Agua,” was also just released.  According to the band, “Agua” ‘reflects their contemporary environmental concerns; and is ‘an ode to the sea and all its beautiful creatures.’  The single is part of a forthcoming EP, set to drop in 2024 ahead of the band’s touring run.
