School bus drivers and attendants in the Dubuque Community School District have approved a three-year contract.
School board members discussed the contract at a committee meeting Monday and are expected to approve it at their regular meeting next week.
The contract includes an 83-cent hourly raise and a total salary and benefit package increase of 2.52%, both increases in line with the district’s other employee groups this year.
Some of the district bus drivers and attendants staged informational picket protests over the last month demanding higher wages.
