The Grant County Sheriff says four people were seriously injured following two separate weekend accidents involving motorcycles at the same intersection near Potosi.
Authorities say one of the accidents happened around 4:30 Sunday afternoon. A Dickeyville man and woman were reported in critical condition following the accident between a cycle and pick-up on Highway 61 at the intersection with County Road B.

Schaefer and passenger 23-year old Jadyn Noonan both were thrown from the cycle. Both Schaefer and Noonan were taken first to Grant Regional Hospital and then transferred to other hospitals.
The second accident at the same location happened Saturday evening. The Sheriff says the driver of the cycle 27-year old Trevor King and passenger 25-year old Paige Adams both of Platteville both were reported to be in critical condition.
Authorities say the crash happened around 7:20 that evening. Authorities say a car driven by 25-year old Jacob Marshall of Cuba City ran the stop sign at the intersection and collided with the cycle.
Both King and Adams were first taken to Grant Regional, but then transferred to other hospitals. No one in the car was injured.
