The Grant County Sheriff’s Department has just released the name of a Cassville teenager who died when the tractor he was operating overturned on top of him near Cassville. The incident happened Friday afternoon around 3:30 at 8680 Irish Ridge Road. A family member who was coming to the house discovered the accident and called 9-1-1.
Authorities say the investigation shows 17-year old Race Landon had been trying to pull a fallen tree using a chain connected to the rear of the tractor when the front end of the tractor came up and the tractor went over backwards landing on Landon causing his death.
