A shots fired incident in Dubuque earlier this year has now turned into federal charges for the man arrested.
29-year old Datreon Adams has been charged in U.S. District Court with one count of unlawful transport of firearms.
Adams was arrested by Dubuque Police following the April 28th shooting in the area of Stafford and High Bluff streets. Following his arrest, he was charged with control of a firearm by a felon, that charge has been dismissed and replaced with the federal level charge.
