A two vehicle accident in New Vienna sent one woman to the hospital. The Dubuque County Sheriff says the crash happened Thursday night around 8:15 at the intersection of Iowa Streets and New Vienna Road.
Authorities say 19-year old Veda Putz of New Vienna ran through the stop sign at the intersection and collided with the other vehicle driven by 34-year old Carolanne Nebergall of New Vienna. Nebergall had to be taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque for treatment. Putz was cited with failure to obey a traffic control device.
