East Dubuque’s Dunleith Aquatic Center has announced due to ongoing financial difficulties, the community pool will not be opening for the 2025 season.
In an online message, the Dunleith Park District says they are actively exploring alternative funding options and long term solutions.
A town hall meeting for the community to discuss the situation is being planned at the park on Tuesday evening,May 20th at 6 o’clock. Officials say site of the meeting could possibly change to an indoor venue.
