City Of Dubuque Opening Cooling Centers Saturday Thru Tuesday

CITY OF DUBUQUE

With predicted highs in the 90 and feels like temperatures soaring over 100, the City of Dubuque is setting up cooling centers during the hot spell.

There are several locations being made available Saturday through Tuesday.

The following public cooling centers have been established in Dubuque for this extreme heat event:

Bunker Hill Golf Course Clubhouse, 2200 Bunker Hill Rd.

Carnegie-Stout Public Library, 360 W. 11th St.

Dubuque Intermodal Transportation Center Lobby, 950 Elm St.

Dubuque Rescue Mission, 398 Main St.

Dubuque Salvation Army, 1099 Iowa St.

Kennedy Mall (public areas), 555 John F. Kennedy Rd.

ImOn Ice Arena, 1800 Admiral Sheehy Dr.

Multicultural Family Center, 1157 Central Ave.

Petco, 2541 Northwest Arterial

PetSmart, 1300 John F. Kennedy Rd.
