A Dubuque man is in jail on child pornography charges after being tricked into believing he was trying to entice a girl under the age of 12.
Dubuque Police say 72-year old Mark Morgan faces 19 counts of possessing child porn, violating the sex offender registry, and enticing a minor under 13-sexual abuse or exploitation.
Police they were tipped off about Morgan’s activities in April by a group based in Texas who help to identify child predators. Police then obtained a search warrant for Morgan’s electronic devices and found images and videos of minor females.
Morgan was arrested this week and is being held in the Dubuque County Jail on $55-thousand dollars bond.
