A pair of UTV accidents yesterday evening in Layfayette County, Wisconsin resulted in injuries.
The first happened shortly before 7 o’clock along Stump Grove Road in Shullsburg. The Sheriff’s Department says the UTV operated by 30-year old Cody James of Argyle went off the road while round a curve and rolled over. A passenger, 22-year old Dylan Blum of Monticello, Wisconsin was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, James denied EMS treatment.
The second crash happened just after 7 on the Cheese Country Trail near Darlington. The Sheriff says 57-year old Ronald Becker of Harmon, Illinois swerved to miss a deer, went into the ditch and hit some trees. A passenger, 57-year old Stacey Becker was taken by air ambulance to a regional hospital; Ronald Becker was also injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
