The Grant County Sheriff says a youth has died in a UTV accident near Lancaster. The Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened Thursday morning around 10 on private property off of Hurricane Road.
Authorities say their investigation shows the youth, whose name hasn’t been released, was doing some chores and lost control of the vehicle which then flipped and pinned them underneath the UTV. The youth was pronounced dead after emergency crews arrived.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will continue to investigate the crash.
