City Of Dubuque Offering Free Pick Up Of Limbs And Branches

Starting Tuesday, the City of Dubuque says they will provide free collection of tree limbs and branches downed as a result of Thursday and Friday’s storms.

City officials say staff can only collect storm-damaged branches/limbs up to three inches in diameter, no more than five feet in length and they should be tied together with rope or twine. Bundles of branches should be no greater than 18 inches in diameter and weigh less than 40 pounds.

Limbs and branches must be placed at the curb or alley line where residents normally set out solid waste containers

The final day for this no-charge collection will be Monday, July 21st.
