Possible Bomb Threat in Bellevue

BELLEVUE, Iowa (KCRG) – Bellevue police were dispatched to 100 Block of South 2nd street shortly after 10:30am Sunday morning for a possible bomb threat. The downtown area was temporarily evacuated and shut down while authorities investigated the threat. No suspicious devices were found and authorities confirmed the area was safe with no active threats and the downtown area has been reopened to the public. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
