The appeal of a Dubuque first degree murder conviction has been denied by the Iowa Court of Appeals.
Lawyers for 26-year old Romell Enoch appealed his conviction in the 2021 death of Kylie Duster of Dubuque.
Lawyers never denied Enoch was guilty of killing Duster, but claimed evidence presented in the trial didn’t rise to the level of first degree murder.
