Labor Day plans for many may include a trip to the store to buy a Powerball ticket.
The elusive jackpot prize will be 1-point-1 billion dollars for tonight’s drawing. The estimated cash value is just shy of half a billion. It is the fifth highest total in the games history.
Tonight’s drawing will be the 40th drawing since the jackpot was last won in California on May 31. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
