- At the Rich Engel Classic hosted by Cedar Falls: Senior finished 2nd and Hempstead was 3rd, Western Dubuque 10th. In the girls meet, Senior won the championship. Western Dubuque was 5th and Hempstead 6th.
- At the Cascade Invitational at Fillmore Fairways: Wahlert boys finished 4th, the Wahlert Girls claimed the meet championship.

Dubuque Downs Waterloo for Second-Straight Win
The Dubuque Fighting Saints beat the Waterloo Black Hawks 5-2 on Thursday, finishing the season-opening Fall Classic with a pair of wins.
The Saints are back in action next Friday when they visit the Madison Capitols. The home opener will be October 3rd and 4th when Dubuque hosts Omaha.
