Cross Country
At the Jim Boughton Invitational at the Dubuque Soccer Complex: a new state boys record was set. Western Dubuque’s Quentin Nauman ran the course in 14:39.4, beating the previous mark of 14:40 set last season. The team race was won by Cedar Falls followed by Senior. Hempstead was 5th, Western Dubuque 10th, Wahlert tied for 13th.
In the girls race: Pleasant Valley took the team title. Senior placed 7th, Hempstead 9th, Wahlert 10th, and Western Dubuque was next in 11th.
