An area financial institution has announced a major round of layoffs.
According to Iowa Workforce Development; 38 people are being laid off from Dubuque Bank & Trust/UMB Financial Corporation effective November 1st.
UMB acquired Heartland Financial Services, Inc. in Janaury. A notification on Dubuque Bank & Trust’s website alerts users that the transition to UMB is happening from October 10th thru 13th.
