HIGH SCHOOL
At the State Golf Meet in Johnston, Wahlert Catholic ended in 7th place. The Golden Eagles shot the third best round yesterday of the 12 teams at 304 for a two day total 621. Dowling Catholic held their first round lead for the title shooting 598. Callan Martineau had the highest area finishing at 8 over for the two rounds. Dubuque Senior’s Colton McCollaugh finished in a 4 way tie for 21st at 11 over.

Mississippi Valley Conf. Tourney
- Dubuque Senior defeated Cedar Rapids Washington and host Cedar Rapids Jefferson to win the bronze pool of the MVC tournament.
- At Moody Gym: Hempstead defeated Linn-Mar and lost to Cedar Rapids Xavier and Iowa City High in the silver pool of the MVC tournament.
- Western Dubuque defeated Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Waterloo West and Wahlert to win the gold pool of the Mississippi Valley Conference tournament. Wahlert defeated both Kennedy at Waterloo West.
