An early morning fire in Dubuque destroyed a garage.
Around 1:30 this morning Dubuque Firefighters were notified of the fire in the rear of the William Heming residence at 12-18 Lincoln Avenue.
The fire cause was determined to be from an unattended and recently stoked wood burning stove. There were no injuries reported.
Fire officials say the loss was at around $40-thousand dollars with the garage a total loss.
