Two Dubuque County men have received prison sentences in connection with the stabbing of a Loras College student in downtown Dubuque last year.
Yesterday in Dubuque County District Court, 23-year old Gabriel Dominguez of Sherrill and 23-year old Scott Wessels of Dubuque were each ordered to serve 15 year prison terms.
In September both Dominguez and Wessels were found guilty by a jury on two charges in the October 2024 stabbing of Hunter Guyon, however both were found not guilty to the most serious charge of attempted murder.
