Lots of Tristate residents are sharing their spectacular photos of the impressive aurora borealis or Northern Lights show seen in the sky around the area last night.
If sky conditions allow, the Space Weather Prediction Center has indicated the geomagnetic storm sufficient for the northern lights will potentially be visible again across the skies tonight.
Experts say if you would like to try to observe the northern lights, head away from city lights, look to the north from the horizon up to just overhead.
