Three Dubuque area high school football teams are one victory from playing for state championships next week.
Tomorrow afternoon, the defending Iowa Class 3A state champion Wahlert Catholic Golden Eagles will play a semi-final round game at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls against the Sioux City Bishop Heelan Crusaders. The winner advances to the state championship game next Friday back at the dome.
In Wisconsin tonight both Potosi/Cassville and Darlington play Level 4 matchups with the winner advancing to state championship games next week at Camp Randall in Madison.
In the Division 7 semi-final at Stoughton: Potosi/Cassville meets Kenosha Saint Joseph.
In the Division 6 semi-final at Waukesha West: Darlington meets Manitowoc Lutheran.
