Swimming
On Finals day at the Iowa Girls High School State Swim Meet in Iowa City
- Senior’s Annie Gilligan placed 2nd in 200-yard freestyle final and 8th in the 100 backstroke final.
- Wahlert’s Molly Snyder placed 7th in the 100 butterfly.
Senior finished 16th in the team race with 40 points, Wahlert finished 21st with 31 points and Dubuque Hempstead scored eight points.
USHL Hockey
The Dubuque Fighting Saints (13-4-0-0, 26 pts) defeated the Tri-City Storm in overtime 3-2 on Friday night to open a two-game series. Game two is back at ImOn Arena tonight.
