Major League Baseball is returning to the Field of Dreams in 2026.
Yesterday MLB announced the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins will play a game at the movie site on Thursday, August 13.
2026 will be the third edition of the Field of Dreams game. The first game featured the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees in 2021 and then the Chicago Cubs played the Cincinnati Reds in 2022.
The series has been on hold as the grounds underwent renovation, including adding a new youth baseball and softball complex and a renovated stadium to host the MLB game.
It was also announced the Iowa Cubs will play against the Saint Paul Saints in a minor league contest that week on Tuesday, August 11th.

Later this morning the Field of Dreams ownership group, Dyersville Events, Inc. will unveil several exciting developments planned for next year in addition to the MLB games.
