A shooting incident in Cuba City left one woman hospitalized and another woman was charged and taken to jail. The Grant County Sheriff says the incident happened around 5 o’clock Saturday morning at 220 North Clinton Street.
Authorities say the 23-year-old woman whose name is not being released was shot in the knee. Following an investigation 25-year-old Alexis Allen of Cuba City was arrested and taken to the Grant County Jail.
The injured woman was first taken to Southwest Health in Platteville, but later airlifted to another medical facility for further care.
The Sheriff’s Department says the investigation continues and further charges could be filed.
