Area roads are getting back to normal following the Thanksgiving weekend storm that dropped a foot or more of snow in area beginning late Friday night and continuing until the early hours of Sunday.
The highest area National Weather service storm total reported was 14 inches just southeast of Asbury. The Dubuque Regional Airport recorded 12.3 inches.
The storm was record setting on Saturday for Dubuque. The city saw its snowiest day in the month of November with 11 inches recorded. The Previous record was 10.3 inches November 25, 1992.
