A Dubuque man was arrested this week accused of threatening a woman with a knife earlier this year.
49-year old Joel Haas is charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon for the incident at a Dubuque residence in September.
Police say Haas punched the woman, pushed her onto the bed and then put a pocket knife to her throat.
