Mental health awareness and suicide prevention will be addressed during a free community education presentation next month.
The event Thursday evening January 15th at 6:30 in Washington Middle School’s Roling Auditorium is sponsored by Duck Cup Memorial, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources for both mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
The evening will feature Colin who will share his powerful story of his struggles with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts and how he found healing.
The Duck Cup Memorial event is in conjunction with Colin visiting Washington Middle School students on January 16th to share a student-focused message on the topic.
