Icy roads yesterday morning in southwest Wisconsin are being blamed for a three vehicle accident where one woman died and two other people were injured. The Crawford County Sheriff the woman who died has been identified as 26-year old Kristen Howell of Soldiers Grove.
The crash happened around 6:30 on Highway 61 north of Boscobel. Authorities say a vehicle driven by 34-year old Justin Forde of Sparta lost control on the icy pavement and collided with another vehicle driven by 48-year old Christopher Hahn of Lancaster. Forde’s vehicle was then hit by another vehicle driven by 26-year old Cheyenne Towsley of Shullsburg.
Howell who died in the crash was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Forde who was taken to the hospital for treatment. Hahn was injured but didn’t go to the hospital while Towsley was uninjured.
