The Dubuque Fire Department was called to a house fire Thursday evening. Fire Officials say around 6:15 they received a report of smoke and fire in the attic of a house at 19-91 Rockdale Road, online records show a home owned by Brian and Amanda Wlochal.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze in just over 30 minutes after being reported. All those inside the home escaped without injury and there were no injuries reported. Damage was estimated at around 20-thousand dollars.
A fire investigator determined the cause of the fire to be arcing electrical wiring. The American Red Cross provided assistance to the homeowner.
