One person died and two others were injured in a rollover crash on a Jackson County gravel road about 8 miles east of Maquoketa.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened shortly after 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon on 33rd Street, west of 84th Avenue.
One passenger died in the wreck. The 20-year-old driver was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals. A 24-year-old passenger was taken to a local hospital with injuries. The name of the person who died has not been released.
