Approximately 500 people gathered in Dubuque’s Washington Park last night in the cold conditions for a peaceful candlelight vigil in protest of recent federal immigration enforcement actions in Minneapolis.
The crowd remained mostly silent during the vigil, holding a moment of silence.
The vigil was organized by local progressive group Indivisible Dubuque County.
