Here’s a traffic alert to note for next week.
The Iowa Department of Transportation will perform inspections on the Julien Dubuque Bridge on Tuesday and Wednesday. The eastbound lanes of the bridge will be closed from 6 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon each day to allow for the inspections.
Eastbound traffic on Highway 20 will be detoured around the closure using Highways 61/151, and highways 11 and 35 in Wisconsin and Illinois.
The inspections are in preparation for an upcoming rehabilitation project expected to begin in late May or early June.
