A southwest Wisconsin woman has been arrested and is accused in the murder of her husband in the Iowa County village of Ridgeway.
Thursday morning, Iowa County authorities were called to a home on Collins Street in Ridgeway for a welfare check and found 62-year old Todd Nechkash dead.
Late Thursday night his wife 67-year old Kelli Nechkash of Black Earth, who lived separate from Todd Nechash, was involved in a traffic accident in Mineral Point and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Further investigation determined she was a suspect in the death of her husband and was taken to the Iowa County Jail.
The Iowa County Sheriff and several other law agencies are continuing the investigation.
