A Wisconsin Democratic candidate has announced he is seeking the party nomination to run for the 49th Assembly district seat.
57-year old John Rindy of Potosi has announced he would like to challenge longtime Republican assemblyman Travis Tranel of Cuba City in the November election.
So far Rindy is the only Democrat to enter the race. Tranel has been the district assemblyman since 2011.
