IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Morez Johnson Jr. and Yaxel Lendeborg scored 16 points apiece, and Aday Mara had two tiebreaking shots in the final 1:22 as No. 3 Michigan defeated Iowa 71-68. Bennett Stirtz led Iowa with 21 points. Iowa travels to #9 Nebraska on Sunday.
- Missouri Valley Conference Tournament
- LOUIS (AP) — Led by Trey Campbell’s 23 points, the Northern Iowa Panthers defeated the Evansville Purple Aces 68-59 in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. The Panthers will take on third-seeded Illinois State in the quarterfinals tonight.

Big 10 Tournament
INDIANAPOLIS – [10] Illinois secured its spot in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals with a 71-69 win over [7] No. 18 Michigan State. The Illini meet #9 Iowa tonight.
Big 12 Tournament
Iowa State fell 77-68 to Arizona State in the second round of the tourney. Iowa State had four score in double figures led by Audi Crook’s 21 points.
Regular Season
- UNI had a 92-73 victory over Indiana State. UNI improved to 16-13 on the season and 12-7 in MVC.
