A number of Dubuque-area nonprofits are set to receive a record amount from the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque.
The Community Foundation says it is distributing $5.9 million dollars in grants across the region, a 10 percent increase over 2025.
More than 400 funds managed by the Foundation and its eight affiliates across seven Iowa counties are supporting the grants, covering Dubuque, Allamakee, Clayton, Delaware, Jackson, Jones, and Clinton counties.
Over the last five years, the Foundation’s endowments have increased by $2.7 million dollars, an 84 percent jump.
