If you drive on Iowa 3 west of Sageville, you need to be aware of an upcoming road closure that may slow down your trip.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says beginning Monday, March 23rd they plan to close Iowa 3 to traffic to allow for the reconstruction of the road between Boy Scout Road and Sageville. The detour set up will take you west on U.S. 20 to Dyersville, then north on U.S. 52 to reach Iowa 3.Access will be maintained for local residents during this project.
Work is planned to continue all season and be completed December 1st.
