John Deere Dubuque Works has announced they will be hiring.
This morning Deere officials announced plans to bring aboard 30 additional employees beginning this month. Deere says the new hires will support increased demand in construction and forestry operations.
John Deere completed its callbacks to Dubuque Works in April, bringing back a total of 72 employees this year.
According to a May earnings report, the company’s construction and forestry division, which includes Dubuque Works, increased net sales 29 percent year-over-year in the second quarter and boosted its forecast for net sales in 2026.
The company also announced today that it is bringing back 20 employees to its Davenport Works plant.
