The celebration for our country’s 250th birthday begins this evening in the Tri-States.
Radio Dubuque will present the first of six parachute jumps in the area this evening at Freedom Fest in Elizabeth. Team Fastrax professional sky diving team will land at 7 o’clock at Terrapin Park. There will be live music, food and beverages available as well. Radio Dubuque will broadcast between 5 and 7 this evening.
Thursday at 12 noon, Team Fastrax will jump into the Nativity Church lot next to the Radio Dubuque studios. There will be other family activities taking place here starting around 11 o’clock.
Tomorrow night the team will land at the Kennedy Mall parking lot at 7 o’clock. On Friday morning at 10:30, they will make a jump at Eagle Ridge Resort in the Galena Territories. There will be two jumps Friday evening at show central at A.Y. McDonald Park during the Airshow and Fireworks.
