The Iowa Department of Transportation reminds driver the Julien Dubuque Bridge is closed in both directions starting today for the repairs.
The closure is expected to last 30 days and the bridge will not reopen at any point during that time, including evenings and weekends.
Traffic will be detoured using the U.S 61/151 Iowa-Wisconsin Bridge to Wisconsin Highway 11, then south on Wisconsin Highway 35/Illinois Highway 35.
