When the new Dyersville Northwoods League baseball team takes the field next summer they will be known as the Dyersville Dreamers.
The new Dyersville Dreamers name, logo, and uniform were unveiled this morning kicking off the Northwoods League All-Star game festivities taking place today and tomorrow at the Field of Dreams.
The name Dreamers was selected from five finalist submissions and was entered by Bonnie Breitbach who was the first of seven who submitted the name Dreamers for consideration.
There were over 3,100 votes cast for the five finalists which were selected out of 427 ideas submitted.
Dyersville Dreamers team merchandise is now available for purchase on the team website and will be available during the all-star game home run derby tonight and all-star game tomorrow evening.
