Iowa’s longest-running arts fair and festival returns with D-B-Q Fest taking place this weekend at Washington Park in downtown Dubuque.
D-B-Q Fest presented by the Dubuque Fine Arts Society will be held this Saturday and Sunday is free to attend. The event will feature two days of art, live performances, hands-on activities, local food, and community connections.
Organizers say 57 regional artists and makers and more than 15 professional musicians and performers will be participating.
Free parking will be available this weekend in the Locust/9th Street Parking Ramp.
The event kicks off Friday evening from 5 to 7 with a reception at the Grand River Center where visitors can meet featured artists and explore the newest sculptures along the Mississippi Riverwalk.
