Grant County authorities continue to investigate the death of a construction worker who fell to his death on the job near Highland.
Around 8:10 yesterday morning the Grant County Sheriff received a report that a 44-year old man had fallen through the roof of a farm building he was helping to repair and landed 30 feet below on the cement floor.
Immediate medical aid by co-workers and then emergency crews failed and the man died.
The name of the victim is being withheld at this time, pending notification of family.
