Oven BBQ Sticky Ribs

4-6lbs. Pork Back Ribs

Dry Rub:
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
½ tsp. cumin
1 tsp. chili powder or cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp. olive oil

Sauce:
2 cups BBQ sauce
3 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
½-1 tbsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tbsp. Sriracha sauce
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Remove membrane from the back side of the ribs and discard. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment papper and place ribs on tray, meaty side up.

Mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder or cayenne pepper. Sprinkle seasoning over ribs (both sides) and drizzle with 2 tbsp. olive oil, rub in. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.

During last 5 minutes of cooking time, mix together sauce ingredients. Remove ribs from oven, carefully remove foil and spread the sauce over the top of the ribs.

Increase oven temperature to 460-degrees F. Return ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for another 10 minutes. Change the oven setting to broil (high). Leave ribs under the broiler for about 3 minutes to char and caramelize the edges. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
